What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy method designed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder. It’s also used to treat other conditions, like anxiety, grief, and panic disorder, for both kids and adults.
During the therapy, the client thinks about emotionally disturbing material while focusing on an external stimulus, such as eye movement or sound. More information can be found on the official EMDR website.
